Mwalimu went back home to Kenya on the 30th of June 2012. After a few days , the drilling kicked off and water was found at the estimated depth (160 - 180 M). Pastor Joshua Ngao, President of Fishers of Men Ministries came to visit the site and met the villagers together with Mwalimu.
Test pumping followed and that gave the report of the pressure of the water and how much water was available from the borehole.
The phase two is expected to begin soon, where tanks are going to be bought and the pipes to pull up water from the ground are going to be installed. The source of power will be solar panels.
People can still donate to support the remaining part of the project.
